There should be no obstacles within 5m outside the baseline and sideline of the field to ensure the safety of the players. Football lighting is divided into indoor football field lighting and outdoor football field lighting. Different ways of installing lights in different places are also different. The standard should be determined according to the use function of the football field. It can be divided into seven levels: 200lx for training and entertainment activities, 500lx for amateur games, 750lx for professional games, 1000lx for general TV broadcasting, 1400lx for large-scale international games and 750lx for TV emergency. In the past, the traditional football field generally used metal halide lamps or projection lamps with 1000W and 1500W lamps. Because of the shortcomings of traditional lamps, such as glare, high energy consumption, short life, inconvenient installation, poor color rendering and insufficient actual brightness, it has been difficult to meet the lighting requirements of modern stadiums.

rebuild the lighting system for amateur football field

this case is to show how to replace the existing halogens with our professional LED sports lights.

This is a soccer field of 9*9 players located in a middle school playground in China. It is not only a venue for renting amateur football matches, but also an important venue for teachers and students' daily sports activities and school meetings. Therefore, it is urgent to solve the lighting problem in the venue.

we, as the professional outdoor lighting, sports lighting and solar lighting designer and manufacturer, has provided lighting system for many sports venues and practice fields all over the world, and has rich engineering experience and professional technology Operative team.

the existing lights in this venue were 12 sets of 400W and 12 sets of 1000W traditional metal halide light. The metal halide lamps not only consume a lot of energy, but also have a serious light failure. The life of the light source is short. The school maintains the lamps many times a year, but some of the lamps still fail or are damaged.

The school staff hopes to provide a good lighting environment for all kinds of sports events, teachers and students' recreation and sports through a complete set of lighting solutions, on the basis that the illumination is not lower than the original, and at the same time achieve the purpose of durability and energy saving.

According to the requirements of school staff and combined with the actual situation of the site, we proposed the lighting transformation scheme of the system, using 16 480W professional LED sports light and LED stadium lamps 720w 2pcs to replace the metal halide lamps. The total number of lamps decreased to 18 sets, but the overall average illumination increased by a full double. Finally, compared with the metal halide lamp lighting system, LED lighting system can achieve energy saving up to 70%, at the same time, the playground has obtained the first-class lighting effect.
