This is a soccer field of 9*9 players located in a middle school playground in China. It is not only a venue for renting amateur football matches, but also an important venue for teachers and students' daily sports activities and school meetings. the existing lights in this venue were 12 sets of 400W and 12 sets of 1000W traditional metal halide light. The metal halide lamps not only consume a lot of energy, but also have a serious light failure. The life of the light source is short. The school maintains the lamps many times a year, but some of the lamps still fail or are damaged.
The school staff hopes to provide a good lighting environment for all kinds of sports events, teachers and students' recreation and sports through a complete set of lighting solutions, on the basis that the illumination is not lower than the original, and at the same time achieve the purpose of durability and energy saving.
According to the requirements of school staff and combined with the actual situation of the site, we proposed the lighting transformation scheme of the system, using 16 480W professional LED sports light and LED stadium lamps 720w 2pcs to replace the metal halide lamps. The total number of lamps decreased to 18 sets, but the overall average illumination increased by a full double. Finally, compared with the metal halide lamp lighting system, LED lighting system can achieve energy saving up to 70%, at the same time, the playground has obtained the first-class lighting effect.
